Resumen
Since its first issue, Amauta magazine circulated in the mining concentration of the Center of Peru. José Carlos Mariátegui-Director of the magazine-achieved a direct relationship with the mining workers backed by this communicative medium He defended the social aspirations and labor rights of the mining workers against the abuses committed by the transnational company Cerro de Pasco Copper Corporation.
