The main purpose of this study is to determine the effects of the application of Mobile Learning in the learning of English in High School Students. This research corresponds to applied research that used a pre-experimental design. An evaluation of 30 items related to the skills in the area of English was carried out, based on the National Curriculum for secondary education. Regarding the instruments, they were validated through the opinion of three experts and a reliability of 0.91 was determined using the Kuder Richardson 2.0 method. In addition, a sample of 25 students was selected using a probability sampling method. During the initial assessment (Pretest), a large percentage of the students were in the “process” category (96 %) and, only 4 % of the sample was at a beginning level. In comparison, in the final evaluation (Posttest), more than 72 % of the students demonstrated an outstanding level of achievement and the remaining 28 % reached an expected level of achievement. The general hypothesis of the study was confirmed with a p-value of 0.000032. In conclusion, it was determined that the implementation of Mobile Learning has a significant impact with respect to the level of English language learning in the students of the present study. © 2024, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao.
