Resumen
Introduction: This article analyzes the impact of Stata software on quantitative data analysis, an experience among postgraduate university students. Methodology: The type of investigation was experimental, applied a quantitative approach with an experimental design, the sample was non-probabilistic, with 28 students for the experimental group and the same number for the control group, validated and reliable instruments were applied with the dosing method spearman brown myths. Results: The analysis demonstrates the comparison of means by groups in both moments of Pre-test and Post-test so that the means were higher and more significant for the experimental group (15,86) in comparison with the control group (12,50), the contrast of The test with U. Mann Whitney was estimated at a 95% confidence level and a 5% significance level that allowed us to infer the positive impact of the Stata application. Discussions: The findings found in the study were very significant, improving the theoretical and practical level in the field of scientific research among students when analyzing statistics with the software. Conclusions: It is concluded that the impact of the Stata statistical software only positively influences the analysis of quantitative data. © 2024, HISIN (History of Information Systems).
