Resumen
Learning to Learn is a theoretical position linked to constructivist theories of learning; has gained strength by being applied in various educational contexts, where educators adopt and internalize the importance of the teaching-learning process, as a means to develop the skills and abilities that lead the learner to critical, autonomous and flexible thinking, in addition to other skills. requirements for professional practice. This position is closely linked to epistemological, methodological, procedural, attitudinal aspects and the development of digital skills. By virtue of the above, the article aims to analyze the relationship between the conceptual elements of Learning to Learn with the formation of digital skills. To achieve this purpose, the study obtained a group of four hundred and thirty-two students (432), applying an associative-predictive design, using the questionnaires to measure variables; the evaluation questionnaire of the Learning to Learn competence and the questionnaire of the Digital Competence of Higher Education Students (CDAES). Once the data was analyzed, it was found that the association between these variables is low (r = .226) and the dimensions that best predict digital skills are the cognitive and metacognitive factors. It is concluded that, in order to develop digital skills adequately, it is necessary to promote cognitive and metacognitive strategies as part of the development of the Learning to Learn competence of students. © 2022, Universidad del Zulia.
