Objective: To assess the impact of the "Invertwachay" program, implemented using the flipped classroom methodology, on strengthening skills related to childbirth interventions among obstetrics interns in a public hospital in Peru. Methods: A pre-experimental design study was conducted with 43 Obstetrics interns. Initially, a Pretest was administered to evaluate their competencies in childbirth interventions, specifically in the recording and interpretation of the partogram, active management of the third stage of labor, and delayed cord clamping. Subsequently, the "Invertwachay" intervention program was implemented using the flipped classroom methodology. Upon completion of the intervention, the Posttest was administered. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon non-parametric test. Results: Statistically significant differences (p<0.05) were observed between the scores of the Pretest and Posttest, reflecting an improvement in the interns' competencies following the intervention. Conclusions: The implementation of the "Invertwachay" program through the flipped classroom significantly enhanced virtual learning related to childbirth interventions among obstetrics interns in a public hospital in Lima during 2022. © 2023, Editorial Ciencias Medicas.
