Abstract

The objective of the study is to identify the relationship between strategic planning and the quality of educational service at the Autonomous Regional University of Los Andes, Ecuador. The research design has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach with a co-rrelational design. The probabilistic sampling type was used, the sample consisted of 139 students, out of a population of 318 law students. Two questionnaires are used: the first, to collect information on the strategic planning variable, and the second, to collect information on the quality of educational service variable. The results collected through the questionnaires applied to the sampled subjects were analyzed using the SPPS statistical software. Pearson’s r was used at a significance level of 0.005. The validity of the developed questionnaires is demonstrated through expert judgment and reliability through Cronbach’s alpha, with results 0.852 for the first instrument and 0.883 for the second. The fundamental results show a direct and significant relationship between strategic planning and the quality of the educational service. © 2021, University of Cienfuegos, Carlos Rafael Rodriguez.
